Full time, Permanent contract. 40 hours per week.

Offering a unique environment and learning experiences for the children in our care, our ethos is focused on outdoor learning, natural materials and resources and following a “child led” learning approach. We are excited to announce that we are expanding our 96 place day nursery at Rand Farm Park in Market Rasen, and we are looking for a Baby Room Leader to join us working at this unique, farm based setting.

We are looking for a confident, experienced Room Leader or Senior Early Years Practitioner. You must have previous experience working with under 2’s, and will be motivated to hit the ground running and add value to our fun and hard working team. You will thrive in a busy environment, and always be on hand with new ideas and activities. You will be confident in all areas of the EYFS, and delivering planning, supporting and mentoring other staff and leading the team forward. You will be qualified in Childcare to a minimum of Level 3, and have experience in a similar role working with children 0-5 years.

The role is a full time, permanent position, working 40hrs per week, on various shift patterns between our opening hours of 7:30am-6:30pm.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • To manage the day to day responsibility for the efficient running of the baby room.
  • To ensure that developmental records for your key group are kept up to date.
  • To support your colleagues and work as part of a team in providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children. (Ages range from 6 weeks to 13 years dependent on setting).
  • To assist in the development of an attractive stimulating range of equipment, activities and displays relevant to the age and needs of the children in the setting, which encourage independence, self motivation and eagerness to learn.
  • To treat information of matters relating to the work within the setting as confidential.
  • To ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene and welfare whilst maintaining adequate supervision of the conduct of the children attending the setting.
  • To ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • To help support the management team to ensure that the Ofsted standards including EYFS is followed at all times.
  • To support the management team in striving to deliver an outstanding setting
  • Any other duties that may be required.

Bank Staff – Nursery Assistant

Duration: Permanent. Flexible zero hours contract.

Due to continued success and expansion, we are excited to announce that we have now opened our brand new 96 place day nursery at Rand Farm Park, and there is a vacancy for an experienced Practitioner to join our team in this new, unique farm based setting. Providing sickness and holiday cover to our Lincoln based nursery.

Responsibilities and Duties

• To support the day to day responsibility for the efficient running of the room facility.

• To support your colleagues and work as part of a team in providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.

• To assist in the development of an attractive stimulating range of equipment, activities and displays relevant to the age and needs of the children in the setting, which encourage independence, self motivation and eagerness to learn.

Qualifications and Skills

Ideally you will have a recognised qualification in Childcare, and experience in a similar environment. This unique position will allow you to work the hours you are available. Rather than being committed to a full time contract.

You must be reliable, and flexible enough to cover sometimes at short notice. This position will require you to undergo a full DBS clearance.
